4. Individual Course Purchases
4.1 What you are purchasing
When you purchase an individual course from Vetting Hub you are purchasing a licence to access that specific course content for personal or internal professional use. Access is granted to the named purchaser only and is non-transferable.
4.2 Payment
Payment for individual courses is due in full at the time of purchase. All prices are displayed on the relevant course page and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We accept payment by the methods displayed at checkout.
4.3 Access
Access to your purchased course will be granted immediately upon receipt of confirmed payment. You will receive a confirmation email containing your login details or a link to access your content.
4.4 No Refund Policy
All individual course purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on individual course purchases once access has been granted. This is because our course content is delivered digitally and access is provided immediately upon purchase, which means the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once you have accessed the content.
If you experience a technical issue preventing access to your purchased course please contact us at [insert email address] and we will resolve the issue promptly.
4.5 CPD Certification
Our courses are CPD certified. Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course. Certificates remain the property of the named individual and cannot be transferred. Vetting Hub reserves the right to withdraw CPD certification from any course at any time in accordance with the requirements of our certifying body. In the event of withdrawal we will notify affected purchasers as soon as reasonably practicable.
4.6 Course Content Updates
We reserve the right to update, amend or withdraw course content at any time to reflect changes in law, guidance or best practice. Where material changes are made to a course you have already purchased, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you. We do not guarantee that course content will remain unchanged following your purchase.
4.7 Intellectual Property
All course content, materials and associated resources remain the intellectual property of Graham and Vivianne Johnson. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own professional development. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, share, copy or republish any course content in whole or in part without our prior written consent.
5. Subscription Terms
5.1 What the subscription includes
The Vetting Hub subscription gives you access to our full library of CPD certified training courses, practical compliance toolkits, our weekly intelligence briefing covering changes to UK vetting law and practice, and our private monthly expert briefing delivered directly to your organisation by Graham and Vivianne Johnson. The specific content included in the subscription is described at vettinghub.co.uk/subscription and may be updated from time to time.
5.2 Minimum term
The subscription is subject to a minimum term of twelve months from the date your subscription begins. You may not cancel your subscription during the minimum term. By taking out a subscription you are committing to a minimum of twelve monthly payments.
5.3 Billing
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance on the same date each month, beginning on the date your subscription starts. All prices are displayed at vettinghub.co.uk/subscription and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change our subscription pricing at any time. If we increase our prices during your subscription term we will give you not less than 30 days written notice before the new price takes effect.
5.4 Payment failure
If a payment fails we will attempt to collect payment again. If payment remains outstanding after two failed attempts we reserve the right to suspend access to your subscription until payment is received. Persistent non-payment may result in termination of your subscription and recovery of outstanding amounts.
5.5 Cancellation after the minimum term
After the minimum term of twelve months your subscription continues on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled. To cancel your subscription after the minimum term you must give us not less than 30 days written notice by email to [insert email address]. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the notice period. You will retain access to your subscription content until the end of the final paid billing period.
5.6 No Refund Policy
All subscription payments are non-refundable. This applies to all monthly payments made during and after the minimum term. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for any part of a billing month, whether the subscription is cancelled mid-month or access is suspended for any reason attributable to you.
In the event that Vetting Hub is unable to deliver a material element of the subscription for a continuous period exceeding 30 days for reasons within our control, we will credit your account with a sum equivalent to the subscription fee for the affected period. This credit will be applied against future subscription payments and will not be paid as a cash refund.
5.7 Subscription access
Subscription access is granted to the named subscriber or, in the case of an organisational subscription, to the agreed number of named users within that organisation. Access is non-transferable and must not be shared with individuals outside the subscribing organisation. We reserve the right to terminate subscriptions where we have reasonable grounds to believe access is being shared in breach of these terms.
5.8 Organisational and branded sub-account subscriptions
Where Vetting Hub has agreed to provide a branded sub-account or white-label arrangement for an organisation, the specific terms of that arrangement including pricing, user numbers, branding requirements and support obligations will be set out in a separate written agreement between Vetting Hub and the relevant organisation. In the event of any conflict between these general terms and a separate written agreement, the separate written agreement will take precedence.
5.9 Intellectual property
All subscription content, course materials, toolkits, briefings and associated resources remain the intellectual property of Graham and Vivianne Johnson. Your subscription grants you a personal or organisational non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for internal professional purposes only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, share, copy or republish any subscription content in whole or in part without our prior written consent. This restriction applies during and after the subscription term.
5.10 Changes to subscription content
We reserve the right to add, amend or remove content from the subscription at any time. We will use reasonable endeavours to maintain the overall quality and breadth of the subscription offering. We do not guarantee that any specific piece of content will remain available throughout your subscription term.
